At RealtorsIn, we respect your privacy and are committed to providing you with full control over your personal data. In accordance with applicable data protection regulations and platform policies, you have the right to request the deletion of your data from our systems at any time.

Important: If you signed up or logged into RealtorsIn using Facebook (Meta) Login, you can also request data deletion directly through your Facebook settings. We fully comply with Meta's data deletion requirements.

2. What Data We Store

When you use RealtorsIn, we may collect and store the following types of data:

Your name, email address, phone number, and profile information
Profile photos and biographical details
Professional credentials, licenses, and certifications
Property listings and transaction history
Posts, messages, and communications within the platform
Usage data, analytics, and activity logs
Data received from third-party login providers (e.g., Facebook, Google)

3. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your data using any of the following methods:

3.1 Through the App

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the RealtorsIn mobile app:

Open the RealtorsIn app and log in to your account
Navigate to Settings (tap the profile/menu icon)
Select Account Settings
Tap Delete Account
Confirm your identity and follow the on-screen instructions
Your account and all associated data will be scheduled for permanent deletion

3.2 Via Email

Send a data deletion request to our support team:

Subject Line: Data Deletion Request

Please include the email address associated with your RealtorsIn account so we can locate and process your request.

3.3 Through Facebook Settings (for Facebook Login Users)

If you used Facebook to sign into RealtorsIn, you can remove the app and request data deletion through Facebook:

Go to your Facebook App Settings
Find "RealtorsIn" in the list of active apps
Click Remove to revoke access
Select the option to delete all data associated with RealtorsIn

Once you remove the app via Facebook, we will receive a notification and proceed to delete all data associated with your Facebook account from our systems.

4. What Happens When You Request Deletion

When we receive your data deletion request, the following steps are taken:

Account Deactivation: Your account will be deactivated immediately and will no longer be visible to other users
Data Removal: All personal data, including profile information, posts, messages, property listings, and media files, will be permanently deleted from our servers
Third-Party Data: We will notify any third-party services that received your data to delete it as well
Backup Removal: Your data will be purged from our backup systems within 90 days of the deletion request

Please Note: Once your data is deleted, this action is irreversible. You will not be able to recover your account, profile, posts, connections, messages, or any other data associated with your account.

5. Data We May Retain

In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some data even after a deletion request, including:

Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
Transaction records that we are required to maintain for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes
Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you

Any retained data will be kept in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

6. Processing Time

We aim to process all data deletion requests as quickly as possible:

In-App Deletion: Processed immediately upon confirmation
Email Requests: Processed within 30 days of receiving your request
Facebook Removal: Processed within 30 days of receiving notification from Facebook
Backup Purge: Completed within 90 days of the initial deletion
